Questions, Answered Straight

Will it actually look real from the street?

From the pavement, yes — that is where this kind of display works best. Up close you can tell it is projected light. The two things that decide it are darkness and what you hang across the glass: a proper rear-projection screen or a plain pale blind reads far better than bare glass.

Do I need a special screen?

Not a branded one, but you do need something for the light to land on. Bare glass lets most of the beam straight through into the garden. A rear-projection screen is best; a plain white blind or a taut sheet also works well.

Can I play my own scenes?

Yes. Load footage on a USB drive, connect a device over HDMI, or use the built-in Android system. Nothing is locked down — but only display video you own or are licensed to show.

Does it come with Halloween videos?

No. No scene content is included with the projector. You supply the footage.

Is it native 1080p?

No, and we would rather say so. Native image resolution is 1280 × 720p. It accepts a 1080p signal and scales it down to 720p. Anyone selling this class of projector as native 1080p or 4K is overstating it.

Does it work in daylight?

No. At roughly 160 ANSI lumens it needs darkness. In practice that means after sunset with the room lights down.

Can I put it outside?

We do not rate it for outdoor use — no weather sealing, no battery. It is built to sit indoors on mains power and project outward through your glass.

How far from the window should it sit?

Roughly 0.5 to 3 metres. Closer is smaller and brighter, further is larger and dimmer. Set the distance first, then focus.

What plug do I get?

Orders to the United States ship with a US plug. Ordering from elsewhere? Contact us before you buy so we can confirm what we can supply.

How long does shipping take, and is it tracked?

Shipping is free and tracked on every order. Orders are dispatched from our supplier and typically arrive in 7-12 days. You get a tracking link by email once it ships.

What if something goes wrong?

We do not run a money-back guarantee, and we would rather say that up front than bury it.

Arrives damaged or dead on arrival? That one is on us — send a photo within 14 days and we replace it free.

Changed your mind, or damaged it yourself? We will send a replacement at our cost rather than retail, so you pay roughly what the unit and its shipping actually cost us instead of the full price. Email us and we will sort it out.

Buyers in the EU keep their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal regardless of the above.

Four steps, one window

Your Lawn Takes An Afternoon. This Takes One Coffee.

No stakes, no ladder, no cable across the grass. All of it happens indoors.

  1. Step 130 sec

    Cover the glass

Bare glass throws the light straight into the garden. Fit a rear-projection screen, a plain pale blind or a taut sheet across the pane — creases are what give a sheet away.

  2. Step 260 sec

    Set it back

Stand it on a table facing the surface, 0.5-3 m away. Slide it back until the picture fills the frame edge to edge, then dial in the manual focus.

  3. Step 345 sec

    Load a scene

Play from a USB drive, connect a device over HDMI, or use the built-in Android system. Loop whichever scene you like.

  4. Step 45 sec

    Kill the lights

The step everyone skips. A dark room behind the screen is what makes the figure float instead of looking like a slideshow.

A projection surface and scene footage are not included. Play video you own or are licensed to display.

One Window, Two Completely Different Nights

The Rest Of The Lawn Gives Itself Away
